Zuyu is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, it does not recommend starting, stopping, or changing a medication or a dose, and it does not replace professional medical advice or care. Always consult your healthcare provider before making any medical decision.
What Zuyu is
Zuyu is an organizational and appointment-preparation tool. It helps you keep a factual record of medications, doses, symptoms, and related notes, and prepare summaries for your own healthcare conversations.
What Zuyu is not
- Zuyu is not a medical device.
- Zuyu does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any disease or condition.
- Zuyu does not determine whether a medication is appropriate for you, and does not recommend starting, stopping, or changing a medication or a dose.
- Zuyu does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or care.
Follow your clinician and your prescription
Always follow the instructions of your prescriber and the directions on your prescription. Consult a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition or a medication, and before making decisions about your treatment.
Emergencies
Zuyu is not for emergencies and cannot contact emergency services. If you think you have a medical emergency, or if you have emergency symptoms, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department right away.
No one monitors what you record
Zuyu does not require an account, and what you record stays on your device. No healthcare professional monitors, reviews, or responds to anything you enter in Zuyu. Nb41 Labs does not monitor or review your entries, and cannot see them.
Recording a symptom, a side effect, or a concern does not notify anyone, does not reach your care team, and does not summon emergency assistance. If something needs attention, contact your healthcare provider directly, or your local emergency number if it is an emergency.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders in Zuyu are scheduled on your device by your operating system. They depend on the notification permission you grant and on how your device is configured, so they may be delayed, silenced, suppressed, or not delivered at all.
Focus and Do Not Disturb modes, notification and sound settings, battery and power-saving restrictions, whether the app has been force quit, and the state or condition of your device can each affect delivery. Do not use Zuyu as your only method for remembering a medication.
A reminder reflects the schedule you entered. It is not a medication or dosing instruction, and it does not tell you when a medication should be taken. Marking or receiving a reminder does not confirm that a medication was actually taken.
Supply and refill figures
Zuyu uses the supply information you enter to show figures such as whether your remaining amount is at or below the refill threshold you set, how many days remain until the refill date you entered, and how many scheduled medication days fall before a date you choose.
These figures depend entirely on what you have entered and kept up to date, and they may not match the medication you actually have on hand. Zuyu does not count your medication, does not know what you have used, and does not advise you to refill. Check your actual supply yourself, and speak with your pharmacy or prescriber about refills.
About estimates and summaries
Some Zuyu features present an estimate or a summary built from information you entered. These are for organization and context only. They are not measurements of what is in your body, not a clinical assessment, and not a judgment about whether anything is working. An estimated-presence view models a general pattern from published information and your own entries; it is not a concentration, an effect, or medical advice.
Review before you rely on it
Summaries and exports may be incomplete or inaccurate if the information you entered is incomplete or inaccurate. Review any generated summary or export before you rely on it or share it with a healthcare provider.
Support is available for questions about using the app. For anything about your health, contact your healthcare provider.
